Peter is a hare full of energy. Not just the kind of energy you see at breakfast in the morning, but the constant, unstoppable, bounce-in-the-field energy that starts at his ears and ends somewhere beyond the roof of the barn. He carries a little basket of eggs as if it were a trophy, and not just any trophy — no, trophies that remind everyone of his relentless presence.

Wherever Peter appears, the world seems to pause for a moment, if only to register the chaos. Karen the chicken looks up from her grain and pecks sarcastically: “Oh fantastic, the human version of an energy drink is here again.” Peter laughs, incomprehensible to Karien and waves his basket like a flag of unstoppable cheerfulness.

George the cool rooster finds it far less exciting. As he smooths his feathers, he watches Peter like he’s trying to ignore an insect. “Peter… seriously, you can’t even walk normally without turning it into a drama,” thinks George, but doesn’t say it out loud.

Peter hops on, eyes sparkling, basket held high. And then it happens: an egg slips free and flies with surgical precision… straight into Ivo the unfortunate pig’s face. Plop! Ivo is completely blindsided, lands flat in the mud, and looks as if the world has personally betrayed him. “Fantastic…” he mutters, as a droplet of mud slides down his snout.

Meanwhile, Sylvia the sultry cow observes the scene with a mix of amusement and mild disgust. Her eyes follow Peter’s wild leaps, her horns sway subtly to his rhythm, and she thinks: “Is he always this… intrusive? Yes. And yet… somehow a little charming in his own chaotic way.”

Not to be forgotten is Gordon the grumpy squirl, who thinks only of himself and sees Peter’s energy as a personal attack. His gaze says it all: “You disturb my reflection, my day, and my absolute superiority. Go away, energy bomb.” But Peter is already gone, bounding toward the next corner of the farm, basket held high, ready to put every creature into a state of exhaustion and mild admiration once again.

Because that is Peter: a living tornado of enthusiasm, a constant reminder that calm is an illusion, and a hare with a basket of eggs can tire, amaze, and mildly traumatize everything and everyone at once.
